Luxembourg is a small country bordered by France, Belgium and Germany. It is only about the size of Northamptonshire, so it is quite easy to travel around the country and see lots of it. As a European destination, it has a laid-back feel, lots of good food and plenty of good beer – it is an interesting and beautiful travel destination for a city break.

Luxembourg City itself is a relatively small European town with plenty of character. The historic part of the city has stunning architecture and a beautiful cathedral. There are lots o bars and restaurants where you can spend some time walking around, seeing the sights and soaking in the atmosphere.

One of the great things about staying in Luxembourg City is the accessibility of the rest of the country. You will be able to get buses to the north, and to the borders with Belgium and Germany, to see some other parts and explore the countryside and old towns.
